I never thought I would have to say this or have it come to this, but since college has been in the way, it has really prevented me from writing altogether.
So, sorry to say that I have to retire from fanfiction writing that I love so much and have been supported by wonderful friends and fellow writers. But to those who I have crossed paths with or upset so much that they of me as a creep, I apologize to those and you won't have to see me again because after today I won't log back into this site again.
I love you all and wish you the best in your future, farewell if we ever meet again in the outside world! 
You don't have to leave for good! Just go on a hiatus for a while. After things have calmed down, you can pick it back up! That's what I've been doing. College re-started for me this Fall, and it's REALLY cut into my writing time. I'm doing what I can, but I know the feeling of dealing with work over writing.
Don't jump ship just yet!
I agree with Level Dasher, go on a hiatus, I did that during college for my own writing.
Best part is, when you come back you'll have a lot of ideas stored up!

Even if you don't write fimfic or fanfic any more I would urge you to not give up on writing altogether!
You obviously have a talent for it and enjoy it or you would not have done it for so long. I'd take to mean that on some level it's a part of you. Don't give up on that part. It's TOTALLY okay to shelve it for now though. Just don't give up on it all together.
I suspect that, be they pony or other, you will have story ideas build up in the background and one day they will HAVE to be put down on paper so to speak.
