Been working hard

Eeeyup, been working real hard.
Sadly, not at writing...
Spent the last week at my Bruvs place, painting walls and fitting a wooden floor. Done a great job of it too I'm told. Still, the novelty of sleeping on a fold out sofa and playing lego with my Nephew is becoming tired. I'm missing my own space, the views of home, all my friends. And animé night! Mustn't forget animé night, one of the highlights of my week.
Also means that I'll be back in my own space for writing again.
I don't know about everypony else, but I kinda like having space and privacy to do these things. Not comfy trying to write with folk on my shoulder, breaks the spell a little...
You know how you get when you can't settle and find the mood, or rather the state of mind to let the words flow? Can be very frustrating, like swimming against the tide.
Tried that, wasn't fun...
Still, rare treat for this week, nearly nine in the morning, and everypony else is still asleep. Even my Nephew, and he's usually up and bouncing about like a certain pink mare at the crack of dawn.
So here's me, taking the time to catch up on messages, happenings and maybe even a little writing if things stay quiet a little longer.
