Just a little something that's been bugging me while I was brainstorming some new ideas.
As I mentioned in a previous blog post, I've been toying with a sequel idea to my hit story, Reformation Buddies. Now, part of that story is going to be explaining where the Sirens were during the events of the Friendship Games. Problem is, I don't know whether to make this some jokey exposition, a full-fledged story, or both. If I go the story route, it'll most likely be something akin to those Equestria Girls online shorts. Something to tide you guys over while I work out the kinks of the true sequel.
I guess I should probably pitch the actual idea to you guys before asking your opinion on it. I'll cover it up in spoiler tags, just in case some of you out there haven't read Reformation Buddies yet.
Adagio is still sore about not getting her magic back at the end of Reformation Buddies, and she wonders if her compatriots even care about her anymore. Concerned about this, Sonata calls upon Discord to help. What she didn't expect was for Discord to give Adagio the Blue Flu, thus causing the Sirens to miss the Friendship Games.
So, whaddya think? Should I make a full story out of that explanation, or just leave it ambiguous in the actual sequel I'm planning? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this one.
I would love to see that as a separate story, as long as it doesn't slow down the progression of the sequel. Or integrate it into a subplot of the sequel, either or.
Write it! Write it! WRITE IT SO HARD!
Could probably use a little more depth if going full fledged, maybe even a song. But reformation buddies worked out so well, thus I have confidence in you.
Might as well add my voice to the choir. Go for it!
Hmmm...
What a difficult question...
Do I want more Stories from the Reformation-Verse(TM), or less?
...
Sarcasm. Easy question. Want more.

Cute.
In all seriousness, I don't know if I'm gonna use that name for this series. My schtick for this site is that my tales are as canon-compliant as possible, and calling this series a "verse" seems to imply the opposite.
Go for both stories, write if you feel it. the more content to love, the better!
Given the post-credits scene in Friendship Games implies that the season finale ran simultaneously to Friendship Games and got pretty nuts. Missing both the Canterlot High and Equestria events should get Discord pretty sore at how Adagio made him miss some Primo Chaos that wasn't even his fault.
