Why Such a Delay? · 8:48pm Nov 17th, 2015
So over the past couple months you may have noticed that Lazarus: The Rise of Man has been collecting a lot of dust.
Why has that been the case?
Writer's block my dear friends, writers block. The thing is though, it's a weird kind of writers block.
Lemme explain. I know exactly what I want to do with the story, however, I do not know how to get to the point in which I need to take it to. I've already figured out how the characters are all going to meet, however, how do I get to that point. See what I'm saying here?
Not only that, ever since the explosion of "The Last of My Kind", which is another story like Lazarus except all of humanity died except for one person, I've been focusing my attention on that. With the exception of a few other side stories I worked on a bit.
In the end, Lazarus is not dead! I actually, believe it or not, worked on it a few nights ago. It's just that progression is very slow right now and I honestly don't see it picking back up until winter break or something.
Its okey. Work at your own pace and it will be good.
Immortan, If I can get some inspiration their is a way to keep this story updated, I pike that writers blocks in the spine, keep it breathing for you!

I know that feeling. Been trying to get typing away at my own work but hit a roadblock.
I know that feel. I actually have a separate file for one of my stories that only contains things that might happen (I don't know if they'll happen for sure; my characters have surprised me before).
Ya know, I've started planning a Pathfinder Campaign and got into the SAME situation. Like, I know that I want to integrate a basement-dwelling Lich, a starting encounter with a dire fire iguana taking a cooking pit for itself (as illustrated here),40.media.tumblr.com/431e40304cca0a3719bb514ce9abf874/tumblr_nxzqq4kT3D1s54f7vo1_500.png a WHOLE possible side arch where a female player character gets kidnapped by evil imagination clerics and gets altered into a permanent version of their Dancing Lobster Goddess (D&D 5 is batshit insane) AND a climactic boss battle where the incognito villain has recovered a set of armour that runs off of souls AND has finished forging a super spear that is basically a sniper's shotgun out of various clergymen that you have encountered, BUT I have no real idea how I get from A to D.
