Writing foals

So case 5 will feature children prominently and I thought I'd ask you guys for advice and tips to give when writing children.

Well it depends on the character. Are they OC? Diamond Tiara? Cutie Mark Crusaders? Ask yourself these questions and think how they'd react to with their own personality, eg Diamond Tiara would find pain/bullying funny but probably not to the point of serious injury or death, which imo she'd be horrified at. Scootaloo likes doing dangerous stuff, while Sweetie Belle is not so sure. These are just examples, if there is an OC, do tell of his/her personality.

Good advice, as for OC's the only foal OC I have is Tailspin who's wheelchair bound and can't fly because his wings didn't develop right. He's a good kid who idolizes his older brother Private. He does think himself a burden to him though because as mentioned in case 2 a lot of what Private earns goes to Tailspin.
