Progress Report 14 November 2015 - Chapter Posted! · 12:35am Nov 15th, 2015
Hi all!
New Rites chapter up!
Anxiety level has been rather high lately, and recent medical news hasn't helped any. Blood tests show a problem with my liver, and the doctor suspects it's from on of my antidepressants. Thus, I've had to discontinue that one, so I'm likely to just get more nervous and depressed. I'm glad my doctor was monitoring me for that, though. He really is a good doctor.
NaNoWriMo has stalled completely. I just can't push myself in that manner. I froze up. So I'm back to writing whatever the muse wants to see, and the words are flowing again. I did 3500 last night.
Finances could become more stretched in the near future, so for Patreon peoples and peoples who would consider becoming Patreon peoples, I pose to you this question: what else would you like to see as rewards at various tiers? (The higher the quantity of pledges, the more time I can devote to writing, and the less to whatever job I can actually manage to get in my condition.)
Speaking of Patreon, the next chapter will be available within the next several hours for those in the $3+ tier. If you're in that tier and don't have access, send me a message on Patreon with the email you use for gDocs and I'll unlock it for you. If you want to sign up, there's a link at the end of the blog. :)
Again, thank you to everyone for sticking with me!

Posted this last blog, but you might not have seen it because I was several daya late on it.
I had a thought. If you ever get the urge to write another side story to Rites, I think a prequel detailing Celestia's actions towards preparing for Twilight's ascension would be wonderful.
That time period has a ton of potential for interesting lore, characterization, and characters. It could include Celestia figuring out that Twilight is going to ascend, her telling Luna about Twilight, her telling Shining and Cadance about their sister's future, Shining creating the squad that protected Twilight from kidnappers/assassins, and the squad's adventures in safeguarding Twilight. Plus, once you get to the squads's operations, you could make it as long or short as you feel like.
I think it would be a spectacular idea if you ever want more variety than the main story and Designing Intrigue. I understand if you're too busy, or just plain don't want to, but I thought I'd get it out.
I can't really think of anything. :(
Have you tried meditation (not some silly yoga thing) for stress and anxiety? worked/works wonders for me.
