"Friendship is Physics" added to Royal Canterlot Library · 3:15am Nov 7th, 2015
Today my story (for lack of a better word) Friendship is Physics was added to the Royal Canterlot Library. You can click through there to see some thoughts from the Library's reviewers, plus an interview with me. You can even compare my modern interview answers with the ones I gave the Pony Fiction Vault (working link) back in the day.
This feature follows directly Friendship is Physics' inclusion in one of PresentPerfect's many review blogs, which I didn't mention at the time because I was off of Fimfic for a few days and was confused by seeing like nine different notifications when I got back. The interview will be crossposted to the main Fimfic blog in a week's time, but now you know and can read it early. Thanks to all involved for the generous offer and kind words!
(In unrelated news, Fimfic has new categories now, so Cloven Hearts and Cloudy Hooves has gotten a new Mystery tag, and The Years of Ar and S, Death and the Dazzlings, Underture in Adagio, and even Trix Academy have all been recategorized as Equestria Girls where they belong. Hooray! I didn't touch anything else because I don't feel qualified to guess whether a story counts as "Drama" or "Horror" or a "Thriller.")
The new tags are super-hard, aren't they? ;_;
3527271 "Horror" brings to mind slasher films, but I suspect it could encompass a bit more than that... but it's not a genre I read or write in, so I'm not sure. Maybe Death and the Dazzlings could qualify. "Thriller" is an interesting one, sort of like "Adventure" but with less expectation of... travel? The Wikipedia description sounds reasonable. And "Drama" suggests arguments, especially as a subcategory of "Romance," but again maybe there's more there.
