Hah, I'm actually surprised to see Rarity and Shining Armor got spots in this list. I have to concur though, they seem to fit well – even if Shining's might be more title-based than due to any past experience we know of.
Are there any fics about Shining going off to battle? Surely there are.

3523954 Only reason why Rarity got a spot was because I wanted all of the Main 6 on the list. I should also have mentioned that Ares was also a protector, which fits Shining Armour well. I also can't seem figure out how to edit the blog post. I know I've done it before, though.
