Alright, it's been a week since my rather ungraceful return to the site. In that time, I've gone ahead and watched Season 5, which to my surprise was actually overall an enjoyable experience. There's some meh episodes certainly, but far more that have regained my interest in FiM as a whole.
While I'm not sure if this will influence new story ideas, or possibly even inspire me to rework existing ones, I feel a little more confident in giving one particular idea ago. Older followers might remember me mentioning Nightmare Moon's Asylum for Sleep Deprived Fillyfoolers at some point, so that will hopefully be something to look forward to.
There's other reasons for my staying of course, notably catching up with friends that I've sadly fallen out of contact with. Whatever the case, I find myself with a new optimism about the community as a whole!
