It has come to my attention that the haters and naysayers of Spiders and Magic are becoming increasingly vocal, more so than usual. The latest attack... is on me.
Derpibooru, that website for sycophants and loudmouths, have been attacking maximus_reborn via insults and other negative comments of my pics. One in particular comes to mind.

this is not just an attack on me, or maximus_reborn or edCOM02. This is an assault on all fans of Spiders and Magic.

Oh man... the haters never learn, do they? They're just jealous of Maximus, his series and all the fans that support him, us included. It is a wonder that Maximus is always self-restraint from all the hate he gets. But when that hate is directed at him just because us fans help support him with fanart is just childish and unfair. Even I get disgusted by this which makes it harder for me to ignore when it hits the extreme.
Its nice that you care and are looking out for us. Us fans gotta stick together. Tread lightly, my friend.

3513829 3513850 I'm happy that you care, but you shouldn't lower yourself to their level. We're better than that. They're free to offer their opinions. The worst we can do is lash out. Rather, it's one thing to defend your honor, but violence begets violence. Hatred begets hatred. Love and tolerate. The worst thing we can do to the haters is ignore. Eventually they'll lose the motivation and hopefully forget why they hate this series in the first place.

3513881 Of course, man. Your advice is always heeded. I'm not the one looking to start a pointless fight with the haters. Believe me, I've seen enough of the hate a lot over the past years to know that is no point is starting a war over nothing and snooping down to their level. Its just Marvelsoldier (segamarvel) that happens to have a hard time ignoring the hate, not that I blame him for defending the series. Just saying that even if the hate keeps on escalating, as always you got my support if you need it.

Like maximus says. The best way to deal with haters and trolls is to either be ncie to them, or ignore them. Their whole intention is to get a rise out of their target. So when that doesn't work, they eitehr get upset or bored.

3515023 sorry. I'm trying the whole "love and tolerance" thing, but, as I've said before, i've spent most of my life being insulted and hated for what I am. My first response has always had "in kind, and I've become a bit hard-hearted for it. It's difficult to change that.
