How Many Times Does Trixie Actually Say "I"?

One of Trixie's best-known traits in the fandom is that she speaks in the third person all the time. But does she really? Turns out, no one has ever counted the times she says "I." Until now...

Reference/Inspiration List for "Where Black Seas Lap the Shores of Dead Stars"

Rather than litter the author's notes with references in my usual style, I thought I'd try something a little different. So, for the curious, I've made a separate blog post of all the references and allusions you might have missed!

Hat Man Reviews: "Haze" by Bandy!

Happy Halloween/Nightmare Night! (plus updates news!) · 1:45am Nov 1st, 2015

Happy Halloween, everyone!

Correction: tonight is the festivity known as Nightmare Night. This festivity involves organics dressing in costumes for the purpose of frightening others or merely to reference media they find enjoyable. Many organics seem to enjoy things which acknowledge the existence of other things.

Right you are, Turing Test! On that note:

HOLY S:yay:T! That's 5 anime references in a row for the latest episode of MLP! Without looking them up, I actually managed to correctly guess that they were, in order: Sailor Moon, Rei (from Evangelion), Utena (from Revolutionary Girl Utena), Bulma [I think] (from Dragonball), and Ranma Saotome (from Ranma 1/2 [one of the first anime shows I really fell in love with]). So many classic shows. MLP writers/artists, why you so awesome?

That is not grammatically correct.

It's not-- gah, never mind! Like I said, Happy Halloween, everyone! And, for your treat, no tricks required, the next chapter is scheduled to go up on Monday!

See you then!

Fluttershy confirmed as Otaku.

How.. how did I miss the Rei reference? I was so convinced the pony in the middle was Lelouch vi Britannia, I totally missed that!

Hah, thank you for pointing all of those out!

Personally, I think this year's best costume goes to Derpy, who dressed up as the scariest things Bronies in Season 3 could imagine:

... My Celestia! I saw the pony dressed up as Twicorn, but I didn't notice it was Derpy!

Man, this episode is even better than I thought it was!
