I Don't Always Read the Comics but, When I Do, They Feature Twilight and Spike

Dear Loyal Watchers, Interested Visitors, and Confused Passersby,

First, let me start off by saying how much I've appreciated the support and compassion of so many people during my long, long recovery. I'm most grateful, and it has been a bright spot for me as my long weeks of isolation here in my home have slowly gone by.

Summer Ends: The Finale of Gravity Falls

Dear Loyal Watchers, Interested Visitors, and Confused Passersby,

Every once in a while I get to stand an applaud as the credits roll to a television show. Futile, of course, as I'm the only one there to hear it, but I do it because it deserves to be applauded.

This evening was one of those nights.

    New Comic: "Away"

Dear Loyal Watchers, Interested Visitors, and Confused Passersby:

Stainless Key and I have just finished a new collaboration—which is to say that she finished making the vision that we shared come to pass. This time, it was Key's turn to come up with the concept... and boy, was it a Duesy!

Happy Hallowe'en! "Scare Master: What a Fright" Comic! · 5:50pm Oct 31st, 2015

Dear Loyal Watchers, Interested Visitors, and Confused Passersby,

Happy Hallowe'en! This is the last time that Hallowe'en will fall on a Saturday until 2020, so I hope you're out making the most of it. I've got my Sunday School Halloween Party tonight, and I just got done carving my pumpkins—including the tallest one, the one I put my road flares in! I do this night o fright up right!

As my Hallowe'en (I'm trying to incorporate the Gaelic apostrophe, as you may have noted.:raritywink:) offering to you this year I offer you the first of what may be a series of comics that were drawn by the very talented Stainless Key, but written by your Ol' Crow Face!

Enjoy this comic, Scare Master: What a Fright and may this night pass you well, and whatever things flit by be benevolent in their disposition...

Stay Awesome,
-Desc

Aw, so cute. And with a surprising twist at the end.

So cute!:rainbowkiss: I've got diabetes. Also, I'm gonna be watching The Beast from 20,000 Fathoms.

Congratulation, Spike. You just graduated from #1 Assistant to #1 Plushie!:rainbowkiss:

And Twilight's gonna learn to sleep with her eyes open. #PonyOfShadowsIsReal:derpytongue2::pinkiecrazy:

I've already seen this, but I completely missed the artist credit until now. Nice work!

Happy Halloween, TD!

Excellent comic! And likewise excellent use of the Gaelic apostrophe!

Happy Halloween! :pinkiehappy:

There's the excellent Twilight/Spike family dynamic I've come to expect from you.

How cute but why is Twilight still awake?

3510723
She's scared man, the door seemed to slam on its own haha

Also, this comic was awesome! Did you make it yourself Decedent?

3510874 Glad you like it :) TD wrote the dialogues and I drew it

Neat comic, and Happy Hallowe'en, TD!

Guh, I sympathize with them both. Last night I heard something rustle (stupid neighbors) and walked through the house with my flashlight to make sure the doors were locked. In retrospect, flashlights are the worst possible tool for that kind of job. Everything automatically looks different compared to when it's under the regular overhead light's illumination, and waving a flashlight around casts weird shadows everywhere. :twilightoops:

This is what I've missed! No one else does the family dynamic like you do TD!

The castle is big and empty and spooky... Happy Halloween, TD!

The way she turns it around so he's protecting her is great. :D

*snerk*

And hey, I'll take any Desendant stories I can get, in whatever format they're in!

This is beautiful! Such masterpiece!

Hey, I got linked this earlier, but didn't notice that you wrote for it! Very nice!

Also, you are missed, my dear friend! Any chances on you posting something in the near future?

Aw, that was just adorable!:derpytongue2::heart:

Cuteness and surprise... a one, two punch!

3510290
I feel sorry for kids today, actually. When I was growing up it was the "Golden Age of Saturday Morning Cartoons." Animation today is very, very good but there was just something about the inherent mindlessness of those lost Saturdays that I grow to miss more and more as an adult.

3510292
I hope it went well... classic monster movies and Halloween make for a good evening.:twilightsheepish:

3510293
We'd all want that job, honestly. Did you notice that the shadow was Owlowscious?:pinkiehappy:

3510303
I suggest you keep your eyes open, then... I expect more like these soon.:raritywink:

3510437
I'm glad that you enjoyed both, Cara!

3510495
You maddest so with the art for this comic, Key. I'm very, very grateful that you brought me onboard with this comic.

3510657
That's exactly what I enjoy portraying the most, Axel. Unfortunately, with my writing at a standstill I haven't had a chance to express it for a great long while, but these comics will certainly help get my creative juices flowing, I think.:twilightsheepish:

3510723
If you look at panels 1 and 8, you'll see that Spike and Twilight aren't the only character in this comic. It seems that another resident of the castle wanted to get a scare in (on panel 19) before Nightmare Night was over.:raritywink:

3510874
Key had the original idea, but asked me to come up with the text. I suggested some changes, and this was the final result. I'm glad that you enjoyed it, and I hope you enjoy the comics to come.

3510905
Thank you, Winston. I hope it passed well for you as well.

3510916
We have nothing to fear but fear itself... and ticks. And things that look surreal in the light of a flashlight. And ticks. Mostly ticks.

I'm glad that aspect of my work continues to shine through for you, AI. You'll be seeing quite a bit of it as these comics continue.

3511103
That it is, Lurk. That it is.:twilightoops:

3511307
It's the little things like how that's possible in their relationship that makes it so important to me, Present. I'm glad that you noted it, as it took some thought.

3511459
You'll be getting a few of them in this format, I hope.:twilightsheepish:

3511817
I'm glad that you think so.

3511964
I encourage you to keep your eyes open for more from Key and I like this, Noble! I'd love to get back into writing, but I have so much on my plate and a lack of a muse keeps me from participating as I once did. I'm glad to be able to share this creativity with you all, though!

3513589
Thanks! I'm glad that you got some "D'aww" out of it!

3514092
Sounds like we should write a public service announcement!:twilightoops:

3514093 YES! I missed your work been dying for more.
