    Hey guys! What's new?

So, I haven't been here in a good long while. I got the writing itch a while back, specifically for ponies and my old Betaverse fics. I might have something in the pipeline. I've got a few questions I'd like to ask the general pony-reading audience if you don't mind. Just so I can see if my writing style should be tweaked a bit for the modern audience.

    Stardrop's Lackluster Ending

Hello everyone. I know I've been away for a while, but that's due to me deciding to finish stories before I post them to revise, edit, and alter them to give you all better stories to read. I don't feel free to do so when I post stories live. This results in me getting frustrated with how a story is shaping up and then dropping it. That wasn't a problem when I was younger, but it's become one as

Anyone know artists who do illistrations for stories?

I'm low key working on a story which I intend to complete before posting. I'm enjoying being able to go back and improve, tweak, and change things to make the best possible version of the story, and it's nice to not feel like I am bound to a strict schedule of uploads.

A metatextual analisis of "The Bureau: XCOM Declassified" to show how it fits in the series timelines

A lot of people like the rebooted XCOM series, and a lot of people also insist its lore is bad/nonexistent. This isn't true in my opinion, but is the product of the game that sets up the world for the series having been released a year after the first game in the series as a prequel, and also it sucks ass to play. The Bureau: XCOM Declassified is not a good game. At all. The story is really good,

Theroy: The EQG world is a nightmearish dystopia, or dosent actualy exist. · 6:36pm Oct 28th, 2015

The EQG univerce is a dystopian hell, not the 1984 kind, but the Xcom kind.

Think about it, a school is struck by a buss wide visible beam laser, and no one cares. There is no military response of troops showing up to protect the city from what would look like an enemy air strike. That energy discharge would be picked up by every single ground installation for hundreds off miles and you bet sat data feeds would show it too. We have systems in place to spot these sorts of things, because we live in the Nuke and ICBM age. But even if they dont have the detection systems in that world, (Which they should, it's clearly meant to be very close to modern Earth), someone looking out the window would see a laser from the sky and call the cops. Several hundred people at the minimum would have reported that, and it would be forwarded to the National Guard, then the Army...

In the movie... Nothing. No troops are sent in to defend the city from what would look like an attack by a technologically advanced hostile force. Hell cops don't even show up with SWAT and riot gear and emergency supplies! For the love of god as far as I remember we see ONE ambivalence respond to a frickkn space laser strike which blew the front wall off a school! Do you have any idea what would happen if this occured in LA? Or even tiny remote as hell Fairbanks, AK? The whole go d damn FLEET of Ambulances would show up and doctors would be called in to respond to what would from a distance be assumed to be a major emergency with who knows how many casualties!

But in the EQG universe.... the only people who even look up from their coffee a the VISIBLE BEAM DEATH LASER FROM THE SKY are three people who know it's magic and wish to exploit it...

Ether everyone in that universe is so rock stupid they missed a death beam of doom, or they are so jaded from attacks like this being the routine and their militarily so hard pressed on multiple fronts to respond to an attacking or hostile force that they CAN'T help. Possible third option, the whole thing is a micro universe created to contain individuals banished from Equestria and therefore most people there are not real. (That third option would explain why no one from that universe has though to try crossing into Equestria, they dont exist.)

You sneaky motherbucking bug... The entire time we were having our discussion/debate you were here making a blog post for your side of the argument!

Touché... :trixieshiftleft:

Oh god it is like the Xcom style end of the world.:raritydespair:

3502888 That's pretty fucking logical to assume. If the army dosen't respond to a laser death blast... they are probably very busy with other such events.

3502895 Sorry, we'd love to help with your demon highschooler, but the mutons are attacking again.:derpytongue2:

I like to think it's a micro universe or pocket universe built by stars swirl the bearded to contain dangerous criminals. He used a number of information and space saving techniques such as copying things from the real equestrian universe. And he based it on one of the weirder universes he visited with Celestia back in the day, namely our universe. I would love to write a story about the existential crisis that human main six receive when they realize they can't leave their own universe because they aren't real outside of it.

3502904 Frankly, the Mutons are more dangerous. Jsut shoot the daemon ones with anything you have on hand. They go down easy. Commander out.

3502929 I know! Damn things are terrifying! Seven feet of muscle and heavy weapons.:raritydespair:

3503163 There would then be instant response from emergency personnel. Rescue crews, medics... Also it's totaly Earth, the human CMC got YouTube commented. I dont think ponies would do Youtube commentary. They are not evil to that extent.

I think it's a dystopia, but not a hell like you say. More like what would happen if the liberal cucks won out on humanity.
