Spike's Shadow - 100 Likes Reward Post!!! · 8:43pm Oct 25th, 2015
Thank you, everybody! Spike's Shadow has hit 100 likes, as of Friday! I can't tell you how thankful I am for your support! As a special thanks, I've whipped something up to celebrate, and I'll continue to do so every time we hit a milestone. Let's say every 50 for now? Plus whenever I hit 200 followers. Anyway, here's the first reward.
Phomac, Dragon Priest of Air
Fourth child of Dramaal, the first dragon. He was taught by Nyll, the goddess of air and spread the teachings of peace and the influence of philosophy. He was cut down by the minions of his youngest brother, Dootha, the god-slayer, the one who would become god of the devils. His spirit lingered in his patron goddess's temple until he passed the power of air on to his only living relative, Spike the dragon.
I went through a ton of failed designs making Pho a reality, but this one finally came out just right. I thought it was appropriate that Pho be the first of Spike's biological family to be shown, since he appeared in the story, and metaphorically stabbed Spike (and us) in the feels.
My plan is to make Spike's whole family tree, and release them as bonuses. Of course I'd love to hear what you guys think about that though. If you'd rather have something else, I'd like to hear your suggestions for future rewards. Dootha will be shown no matter what obviously, but not before the time is right.
So... Yeah. I've never really done anything like this before, so I hope you guys enjoyed this. I put a lot of love into Phomac, the story itself, and trying to listen to my devoted followers. I really get a pick-me-up from hearing how much you guys like my stuff, and I aim to please.
