Ponies n' Prisons (as with everything I do, the name is WiP) · 6:13am Oct 22nd, 2015
So a while back I posted a blog talking about a custom role playing game character sheet I was working on. 100+ hours, 6+ D&D knock of campaigns and a lot of my friends screaming at me for making them remake character sheets later... It is still not finished! YAY PROGRESS!!
But in all seriousness it is in a relatively finished state so what exactly is it?
Before I continue: This sheet is NSFW, don't scroll down the statistics column at work or when little kids are around. With that said here is a link to it.
Well, it is a rather large Google Sheet with a ton of information on it. I found that all of the existing D&D 5 character sheets were... lacking in terms of gun mechanics. So, I made my own. One of the coolest things about it (yep I'm blowing my own horn) is that it automatically updates, you have several modifiers to select from and a trait panel to fill out (along with the standard armor and equipment stuff) and the sheet does the rest... Oh and did I mention that it is calibrated for all of the equine races:
* Alicorn
* Sudo-Alicorn
* Proto-Alicorn
* Changeling
* Changeling Queen
* Changeling Worker
* Changeling Drone
* Changeling Scout
* Dracolite
* Earth Pony
* Griffin
* Pegasus
* Saddle Arabian
* Thestral
* Unicorn
* Zebra
Along with several variation of ponies:
* Dighouletic
* Robotic
* Crystal
(ya the second list isn't as impressive... Ideas please?)
Sadly I haven't gotten around to adding any human races. Been too focused on them ponies... You may also notice the lack of classes, the way I see it classes aren't really necessary if you have races giving different bonuses. Some races will be naturally more proficient at some things and less at others (Earth Pony Mage = best Mage (I may or may not be kidding about that) (That's right I just put a parenthetical inside of a parenthetical-- Twice!))
Anyways it can be played using the standard D&D 5 ruleset (just using the sheets built in skill calculator) or you can use the custom ruleset that I have designed. And am far to lazy to type up. So ask me for it. This should not have been three sentences.
Feel free to use it for any of your role-playing-need-things and let me know how it goes. I'll be updating the sheet more, probably, maybe, when I get around to it and fixing bugs and unbalanced things (do not look at how OP Earth Ponies are).

Flutter on!!
