Final Push For "Them's Fightin' Herds" · 10:23am Oct 20th, 2015
Hello everyone!
So for those of you who are unaware, the old fan-made MLP fighting game, Fighting is Magic, has been officially revived the (now legal) Them's Fightin' Herds. With Lauren Faust herself behind the game, it's shaping up to be pretty amazing. I can't wait to see the MLP, TFH crossovers here on FiMFiction.
The game has had an IndieGoGo campaign going on for some time now, and it's down to the final two days of crowdfunding. I'm going to leave a link here so that you can support the game and/or score yourself a copy for PC/Mac/Linux. The more the merrier, as there are several stretch goals that I'd like this to see.
But why should you donate?
What You Get:
A mere $15 gets you a download of the game on Steam once it's complete. That's pretty freaking affordable. But hey, if you can't chip in that much, $10 gets your name in the game's credits, and $5 gets you a special wallpaper. And if you give more than $15, there are even better rewards, so you'll definitely be getting at least something for the money.
What I Get:
Okay, so what's in it for me? Yes, I'm hoping to score myself a goodie in return for referring a few people. I'll be completely honest about it. If the total donations of everyone who clicks my link add up to $15 or more, I get a little in-game party hat for my efforts. Yay, me!? There's also a little horn that I guess gets characters to dance or something if they equal $100 or more, but in all honesty I just want to get that hat.
Hats, man! Am I right?
So yeah. If you'd like to help me out, and score some cool stuff for yourself while you're at it, click right HERE.
Thanks,
- Slorgy
Sorry dude, pledge my bits last night
3483779 I figured you would have snagged a copy weeks ago. Lol.
3483782 Not really, I'm terrible at fighting games
3483786 Good. I'll play against you and feel better about myself.
I pledged $25 on day one.
So hype. Waited years for this.
While I'm glad to see this funded up to the Linux stretch goal, I'll have to wait until it shows up on a DRM-free vendor like GOG.com. I've already driven my discretionary budget too far into the red this month, chasing rare CD-ROM releases of old DOS games on eBay. (I'm also more of a strategy/sim/puzzle player, so this would mainly be for collection's sake.)
lol
I'd throw money at this if A) I had any, B) I played fighting games. I've just kind of been spectating the whole thing from the sidelines because Faust. :B
I'm hoping to get a physical copy myself... I just need to go in under the wire due to reasons.
Well, I'm getting the digital version plus soundtrack anyway... I just apparently did something that makes Paypal hate my debit card.
