So, this story, Donald Trump Tells the Ponies to Build a Wall is now at over 400 views. I what, two days?

That's more than double what my 9-chapter, 20,000 word story has.

Wow.

Maybe I should write about more stuff people want to read

Yup, that's the secret. Write something people want to read. After all, My Little Dashie was a oneshot.

In fact, most of my favorite stories are one-shots. One shots are nice as they are quick to read, quick(ish) to write, don't take ages to update, and generally don't dither with subplots.
