After so many friggin months... or years? · 4:54am Oct 19th, 2015
Okay, let's see:
1) I've been a member since Feb 2013
2) Wrote three shitty stories when I was 13 years old.
3) Lost my passion for MLP after that and moved on to other fandoms.
4) Returned back with a somewhat rekindled passion for the show... maybe.
5) Been more of a reader than a writer in this site; not that there's anything wrong with that.
Alrighto, it's about time I made things clear.
I had a deep passion for writing since I was a primary school student. My works were constantly praised by teachers and parents. So, when I was introduced to the internet at a tender age of 13, I decided to write fanfiction of my favourite cartoon show. I showed my draft to my family and they said it was pretty well done. With growing confidence, I posted it here and expected praise and sheez. It got little to no attention, and as I slowly progressed with the story I lost motivation to continue. So I continued with a crossover and another short story. Again I received a pathetic amt of views 4 the short story, and the shitty crossover story got a lot of negative responses. Being the immature brat I was I said and did lots of mistakes and in the end cancelled that story too.
After a year or so I returned with another new short story that was used in a competition on DA. I didn't win, but I was satisfied with the great improvement from my 2013 stories. Now, I've caught up with the fandom and I'm considering to write new stories. Don't worry, no more cliche plots or bad grammar.
Actually, I better start now cause next year's national exam preparation dates are drawing near and I won't get any more free time until early nov next year.
Wish me luck for my stories to get a chance at the featured section; I heard that nobody looks at the browse section anymore.
