Up and running. Or at least cantering.

The past two days have been such a nervous time! I decided to start a story (if you didn't already notice) I first got an idea to do something that was Royal Guard based after listening/reading Anzel and Crystal Wishes works.

Not having much experience forging a world of my own I took a chance and got in touch with Anzel. We talked, I shared a draft and he agreed I could go ahead. (I imagine it's not an easy thing to agree to) I assured him I would do my best to be respectful to the world.

Now. Taking someones world and writing your own niche within that world has it's issues. For one, I am not a co-writer, let me make that totally clear. My work will in no way advance any storyline or plot, or change anything these two fantastic writers are doing.

My story is all about another aspect of life within the larger world of the royal guard and the daily goings on within the area I am writing. I guess you could say my writing is lagging/reacting to the main stories through Memoirs of a royal Guard and Secrets of a Royal Guard. But they in no way directly meet. It's never going to be my intention to step on hooves or tails.

Helical is simply doing his duty and living his life while bigger events around him shape how his work is done.
With that said. I am enjoying writing his story and I hope even a few of you enjoy what I do.

I look to the future of Helical Gears career with excitement and a good dose of nerves.
