For comparison, my most popular fic of all time is A Great and Powerful Legacy, with 1055-15 likes, 143 comments, and just over 8,000 views. And it's been up since March 2014. And let's not forget Do Humans Get Wingboners, with 783-25 likes, 134 comments, and approx. 6,200 views.

You know before I came to this site, I posted my fics on Fanfiction.net, where a few hundred views and a couple dozen reviews in the first week of posting was a sign a story was doing well. You people... never cease to amaze me.

PS - I intend to write a fanfic combining Trixie, Twilight Psycho, and wingboners. I plan to see if it will crash the site's servers.

PPS - Fit Sunset Shimmer somewhere in there, too, because she is best human.

Glad to see your fic is doing so well.

The idea for a sequel is obvious. Sunset Shimmer needs to distract Twilight Psycho before she finishes all the books in the school library and hits the Internet. Using her knowledge from... experiments with Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy, she just has to get Twilight to pony up. Then Trixie walks in on them.

If the premise is intriguing enough, one-shots are usually short and easy to get through in a few minutes, making it more likely for someone to click on it.

Plus, this site loves its absurdist comedy.

I used to write for FF.net all the time. The community there is not as supportive or as strong as it is here. Even when bronies/pegasisters flame your story, at least they take the time to actually let you know how they feel about it instead of "this sucks" or "great story, update!"
