The Dastardly Duo (also a quick check-in)

Recently, I realized that I needed to get some art for the less noble side of Set Sail. Our main villain has existed for years now as nothing more than words on a page and ideas in my head, but now we've got photographic evidence that he exists!

I haven't ever done fic promotion before, but I feel this one really is necessary. A few months back, in fact right at the time I released No Longer a Doppelganger, I helped my buddy Kestrel out with editing a fic of his. After several months of waiting for the cover art to come in, he has finally released it!

One of the unique things about our fandom, and in fact one of the things that I love so dearly about being a brony, is our ability to breathe life into nearly any one of the numerous background characters in Friendship is Magic. Lately this sort of thing has decreased a bit, but Kestrel has embodied the spirit of background development in his newest one-shot!

On Target is the story of the stallion whose arrow went astray and nearly caused disaster at the Equestria Games. We all thought his mishap was a simple mistake, but what if the truth behind the error were something deeper.

Perhaps something heart-wrenching.

A tale of recovery and of self-discovery awaits you, should you choose to look into it, in...

On Target

God damn. I need to take a lesson from this as promotion. This is soooo much better than my own hype blogs :twilightsheepish: Thanks for the publicity, bro. And thanks for helping edit. I hope you enjoy the final cut.
