I thought the episode 18 was great! It was unpredictable and amazing. The writers know how to properly redeem characters (Next is Lightning Dust right...). It was equal to Magical Mystery Cure to me. It may have been rushed, but whatever. On yeah, and the CMC FINALLY GOT THEIR CUTIE MARKS. What did you guys think of it? Did you like DT's redemption? Did you like the music? Did you feel content with the CMC's marks?

That is one of the Epic episodes, even if it ould have been enough to fill up several episodes on a good to great standard.
This certainly was a very different way to present the poor filly, by presenting the long lost mother; wouldn't you say? This doiid more than just redeam DiamondTiara, aside from explaining why she was and acted the way she was.
I guess it could be an interesting and great episode, if they could make that out as you suggested.

Wasn't this the only thing they have been consistently doing throughout the entire show? Even if they first got close to seeing the worth of it when they helped Trouble Shoes.
That event does hold all the components of gaining the mark.
From one perspective, it is curious that this quality was granted an episode of the Crusaders.
Of course, it was fun to see a male character win a top position, when Pip Squeak was elected.

3569252 There have been a few characters canonically redeamed in the FiM show, even from the very get-go.
Speaking of Redemption-arcs, I have a few; and Pinkie Pie loves to Execue them for us, even if she sometimes takes that a bit too far or literal, if you follow that drift?
Naturally, there are numerous reasons, why a character would need or require a redemption, and the arc to go with it.
Just curious, what is it in the redemption you personally enjoy?

I have stories with Sunset, and Discord, but he is only from after reformation.
Aside from Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon, I have Prince Blueblood. Oh, there is Trixie, Snips and Snails too.
I am working on Aria Blaze and the Dazzlings.
Most may not consider Breaburn, but from his initial appearance, he was a less than pleasant character.
I have Chrysalism too.
Of course, I do have Luna, if you recall the Nightmare Moon?
