Okay...I know the big question you all are asking. When's my next story coming? The answer is, I'm not sure. The whole thing is written, but is thirty-three chapters long. I'm currently working through editing and ironing out all of the bugs, of which there are quite a few, so it might take a while. After that, I've had a couple of people volunteer as pre-readers so that, hopefully, I don't post a chapter and have you folks find half a dozen errors. There are a few plot holes to plug and so on...I'll let you know as I'm getting closer. In the meantime, I'm also writing the next, and final, installment of the series. Hopefully you won't have to wait as long for that one, as I don't intend for it to be anywhere near as long as this one turned out.
In other news, I got to see Jim Butcher at a book signing the other night, which was pretty awesome. He's a lot cooler in person than I'd ever thought and he has a great sense of humor. I see a lot of him in Harry Dresden. It was a lot of fun getting to listen to him respond to different questions and a lot of things that he had to say were really interesting, including some tidbits about his future books.
In other other news, I go into work today and find that my faith in humanity has been shattered once again by the sheer revolting...uh...um...revoltingness of this latest attempt to cash in on the Christmas BS. Yes, we're already selling Christmas junk. There's barely an acknowledgment that thanksgiving exists and almost absolutely nothing Halloween related. Some of the Christmas stuff has been out since mid to late September.

(yep, i've been rereading the entire thing every time a new story was coming around ever since i started following, which was while story 5 was being released.. like right now i'm on my way through story 8 already..)
And honestly, why are you so surprised about Christmas things coming to shops waay too early? I thought it's about time to get used to it and face it with poker face..

That... I want to put it in a car and film it going off a cliff. Make it into a PSA about how selfies killed Santa.
Wonderful to hear about the progress, I can't wait! This story really grew on me, and it just keeps getting better as it goes on.
Seriously, though, you should buy one of those and set it on fire. Cheap therapy.

Anyway.... Selfie Santa is a sad testament to just which direction the world is going in. Mourn. Be sad and mourn for the road society is heading. Idiocracy might soon end up being a true story on the state of the world.... 
As long as we get the next story to read before too long, I would say us fans would be satisfied with a bit of delay. My biggest gripe with the series is just having no one to really talk to about its epic nature while we wait.
My friend ... god has abandoned humanity the second the internet was opened up to the world at large. So there is no mercy for our poor souls. On an unrelated note, I have no problems with waiting for the next fic. The last two stories promise to be utterly amazing, so it'll be worth the wait.

I think the thing I'm most interested to see is how the cultists react when they realize Morning Star has been playing them for fools. That and I'm pretty sure Twilight will find out what causes the Eyes of Nightmare and develop a treatment for it. So we get to see what Dawn's eyes really look like.... now that I think about it, That will probably be in one of the last chapters.

I know someone who is writing a song about how angry they are over the invasion of Christmas. Currently looks pretty good, musically.
