Once again, the proof copy is out for delivery right now.
The hardcover edition proof copy turned out great - some text mistakes to fix, but no printing errors that aren't mine! Lulu can print a book to specifications! Yay!

I'm super-nervouscited right now. 
Here's where we are on the Seashell print book:
83 pages all told, including front matter and a preface. 75 of them so far are story. Anticipating about 10-20 more pages to be finished. Almost there!
Cover's done (for the hardcover edition dust-jacket, at least, will probably have to be redone for the paperback but whatever).
I wrote this thing for Penguifyer, and today is my assigned day to deliver the gift, so I guess this is when the story drops:

I've been thinking about writing a story about an event from an earlier time in her life, before Seashell. While I was considering it, I drew this. It came out pretty good. Maybe it's a sign?

I had no idea you could draw as well. I am now jealous and, at the same time, find myself wondering if I shouldn't put you on my list of artists for requesting/commissioning purposes.
Her design reminds me of Rainbow Dash, come to think of it.
I don't recall a lot of description about Sunburst's appearance in Seashell, so this is a very nice piece to complement it. I just wish I had the time to learn to draw well like that!
