What happens when a life-changing event occurs that shapes your whole life? What if that event occurs when life has barely begun? If a kid has dealt with more issues in six years than most can handle in a lifetime, how do you think they'd feel?

    Hey, Everyone!

A comment on my previous blog reminded me that I didn't update here yet, but it still won't be horribly long.

    I Live!

But I’m on a buttload of drugs and am going to pass out.

Surgery went great, even better than expected. I’ll elaborate more later.

    Until next time!

Updates on Various Stories · 5:14am Oct 6th, 2015

Hey Everybody,

I generally try not to do duplicate blogs like this [apologies to my followers— this blog (and it's soon-to-follow duplicate) is mostly for people following the accompanying stories (and not following me) who will only see it with the stories tagged, and since I can't tag more than one story per blog, I have to make two, so you'll see both of them], but I thought I should give you an update on my current goings-on, and how it's affecting my story-writing.

As I mentioned a few blogs ago, my medical stuff has eased off for a bit (*knock on wood*), so I've started school again, and I've got a fair workload on my plate. This is unfortunately making it hard to continue with my fics, since a lot of my writing is being devoted to my classes. However, my stories have not been forgotten.

My collab with Anonymoose is essentially finished. We want to go through the chapters to do some last tweaks before we send it off to our editor, and I believe we're about 4/9 chapters in, but that's not what this blog is really about.

I'm making gradual process with Through Crimson Eyes. If I haven't said so already, I have a couple of particular sections that I need to finish before I can then transition into the later parts of the story that have already been written (and then send it to my editor for us to go through the whole thing again). During some of my recent travels, I was able to get a little bit more of the current section written, but there's still a fair amount to go.

Unless I get some major break time from my classes sometime soon, I have a feeling I won't get to continue Crimson until the holidays. Unlike this past summer, where I took online classes, I intend to actually take the winter off (since the classes I need to take aren't offered over the winter anyway), so hopefully I can get some work done then.

Throughout all this, I'm still editing the two ongoing stories that I took on a while ago, so that's taking up some time, too. Due to the writing, editing, and classwork, I've had to turn down a few recent editing requests, even one from Anonymoose, and that's a rarity.

When I do finally manage to finish TCE, I intend to hop back onto A Daughter and Her Dragon ASAP, though I have jumped into it once or twice and added a sentence or two just to keep it moving forward. I really want to finish TCE first, though, so DaD has kind of gone on the back burner, but like I've said multiple times, Cotton has NOT been forgotten. In fact, I actually just recently commissioned some fanwork that you’ll get to see much later on in the story during the appropriate chapter, so there’s a little teaser for you.

If there's anything you want to ask, feel free to comment or send me a message, but hopefully you all understand where my priorities lie.

Have a good one, everyone.
