Sorry about the lack of Content

First off before I begin I want to make it clear at the moment I am not really working on anything, I've kind of got the odd idea written down but I'm not in the process of writing any new chapters.

Something I realized about Equestria Girls · 12:03am Oct 6th, 2015

First off I haven't seen the movies but I do have a basic understanding

1) Parallel universe
2) Same characters as humans

So what I noticed is that all the characters appear to be the same age as their counterparts.
When Twilight goes there she turns into a human and is the same age as the "Already existing" Mane 6 in that universe

So this tells me that when say Pony Twilight was born Human Twilight was also born the universes are synced in that regard. When X Character is born in one reality they're also born in the other reality

So what about Celestia and Luna
Clearly they exists in the other reality as "adults" but in Equestria they're thousands of years old. By all accounts if I'm right Human Celestia and Human Luna were born at the same times a Pony Celestia and Pony Luna, meaning the human versions are at least a thousand years old or more.

The movie shows that there is magic in the "Human universe" but it works differently so what are Celestia and Luna in the Human universe because they're clearly not normal humans by that universes standards.

Well, if you haven't seen them then you're also missing a crucial piece of information.

In the first movie it is said that the portal opens every thirty moons. Since they seem to have replaced years with moons in the show, the portal opens in Equestria every thirty years.
A moon in the human world is once a month, if we base this on the lunar cycle, which this theory is. Thus 30 years in Equestria = 2.5 years in the human world. This can also explain how nearly a year can pass in Equestria and not a month in the human world between movies (see EqG2 for reference) (And yes, this whole time parallel thing has been debated, and still is)

While this still doesn't explain Tia and Luna, this story provides a humorous idea.

3446178 Thirty years? I don't think that really makes sense. Personally I haven't seen EQG either but doesn't twilight visit in the second one? So wouldn't that mean that she had to wait thirty years in Equestria to visit? Personally I think the thirty moons is a literal month of time, not a definition of years, Unless someone here has a Muslim lunar calendar they can pull out to help us out.
The big issue that I had however was that Sunset shimmer, Who was supposedly Celestia's other student years before Twilight left for the other world and was able to pass as a teenager. So what's the deal with her still being a teenager when Twilight catches up with her in the first movie? Is it some kind of time paradox or something?

3446312 as for going there the second time, she opened the portal by artificial means.

there is too much to consider to come up with a time ratio, pony years being in the same calendar or not, their life span, the supposed social requirements to be either teen or adult and a lot more than i can think right now.

so far, what i have as theory is that, each character altought has a counterpart, are not the exact same.

P Rarity has her own boutique, H Rarity doesnt seems so, she most likely works there onl

P Pinkie Lives with the Cakes, while H Pinkie lives with her own family.

P Fluttershy has her own pet place, while H Fluttershy only volunteers.

i think the key here is rather than try matiching age, match their roles.

as for the time gap between Twilight and Shimmer, on the 3rd movie Sunset seems to never have heard of the Friendship games, we are told that they happen every 4 years, so she must be there leess than that, how does that translate to pony world time is you guess.

reincarnation maybe?

28*30/365=2.3...
The portal opens every 2.3 years IF they have the same measurements of time as us.

Twilight was still a blankflank filly when Sunset left.

The CMC are in the same highschool.

My conclusion. It makes for a more interesting movie if their ages are close to the same instead of having Sunset as a teacher and Celestia and Luna as skeletons.

Also there is a story here where Sunset asked the same question and the human 6 crash a family reunion to find out that for generations, Celestias and Lunas have been giving birth to copies of themselves.

the easiest option for me is that they are just reincarnated. The original Celestia and Luna were born a thousand years ago, then they died and were reborn later. Like Link and Zelda being reborn through the ages and realities, they are their own persons but they are also the same they used to be
