STOP USING COLOUR-WORDS UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT THAT COLOUR ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE
I've seen the word 'mullberry' used to describe Twilight Sparkle's coat several times, purple used for her magic colour, and one time I even saw someone use 'chartreuse' to describe Cadence's coat.
I can excuse colourblind people for some of these, but the rest of you have no excuse.
If you want to use a word other than the obvious to describe a coat or mane colour, I found this useful place which has a list of colours. (did you know dingy dungeon is a colour?)
...In other words, please try not to accidentally give Twilight Cheerilee's coat colour. Accidentally mixing up colours is one thing (such as accidentally swapping Shining Armour's pink magic colour for Cadence's blue), but it gets annoying when someone calls Cadence's coat colour green-yellow because of not knowing a word.
Chartreuse is a very bright color for midnight on a Saturday, jerk.
