new inspration, may cancle stories · 2:26am Oct 2nd, 2015
okay, I have no inspration for any of my stories at the moment. but i do have some for a new one using an old character from one of the others, in a new setting, backstory, and plot. I'm thinking of taking Boomer from Subject 00 and puting her in the normal timeline with alicorn twilight. I would make her a whole lot older than 200 years mind you if i do this for simple fact I don't think a murderuas, unkillable pony, would not go unoticed and be stopped by celeistia some how if she was only 200. the only things i need to decide are if I jump from past to present, or just work from the past to the prestent or just stay in the prestent with flashbacks and some vuage refrances to to what happened to her. I also need to figure out how much magic she can wield, in terms of her actual well of magic, and how much she has learned of magic, exculeding things like time travel and friendship. also my change her name and looks. same frame of character in writing, person cursed to an imotortal life, see the world move on while they don't age, and watch as loved ones die around them. She would still be the insane mare that could ripe you two with her bare hooves and is willing to do if piss her off, with some minor changes in how it happened and how she got cursed.
with this, i'd like to ask for some ideas if you have any you think might be of use. and no I will not make her related to twilight, the others or celstia or luna, but maybe cadence.
You're the same as ever, huh?)
Onto those questions, though. Hmm... I don't quite understand how exactly are you going to put her in FoEverse, but, oh well. Unkillabe, for once, doesn't mean unstoppable, and if you don't want her to be a result of some magical experiment, you need to thig about on how she became an alicorn. Was she born that way? Was she reborn via some dark ritual that left a dark stain on her psyche? I vote for the last option since it ould explain some things. Maybe the Miasma, some leftovers from NMM was used to empower her? That could be one way...
As for the plot, I'd propose to give the first scene, prologue, at some crucial point in her life. From the top of the head - she barges into, maybe, a research laboratory or into the throne room of Celestia herself, heck, why not, and, while not being killed, were turned to stone via magic. Then you could jump two hundred years or so when the heroine had some time to deal with her darker self and gain a semblance of normalcy. Then, she awakes to the whole new world, irradited, corrupted, dead, in a sense.
I'd vote for big reservoir of magical power, not so much training or knowledge. No time traveling, though, if you want to play with time-traveling you should write something totally focused on that, "Life is Strange" and "Butterfly Effect" are good movies of that type.
I guess something like that?
