    Where I'm at now.

I couldn't tell you why I still have a FIMFiction tab open on my browser, and I can't even tell you the last time I clicked onto it. I think it's realistic that posting this is the last major activity I'll grant the site.

    Ten years today.

According to the info blurb beside my name, this is the ten-year anniversary of this account. And to think, this all started with me doing self-insert riffs on bad MLP fiction. And now I've got two finished stories under my belt, a crossover atrophying in a forgotten corner, and two other projects completely pony-unrelated I've finally put some words down for*. And also the last vestiges of my

    F/F/T3K19 THE SORTA FINAL

Last month's riff is complete. Enjoy.

This month, we're finally, finally finishing that riff of a riff we started god knows how long ago. We've spliced in a tiny Christmas story in there too.

F/F/T3K19 10/4: When the pasta is creepy.

Alright, we didn't exactly intend to slow down quite this much quite yet, but that's how we're gonna roll now. Here's last month's riff.

Wow, Sassy's back already.

Holy shit "Canterlot Boutique" kept my attention better than this opening did. It didn't kick into gear until the very end of the first act. Then it kicked right into detective-style film noir, which was actually pretty fun. I mean, I called the solution (Wind Rider framing her to preserve his record) the SECOND the relevant players arrived in the story, so "MMMystery on the Friendship Express" was arguably a better-crafted mystery, but I think I liked the noir style in this episode better. Carrying the music style over to the end credits was a nice touch too.

Also, Spitfire really needs to whip her Wonderbolts into better shape. This is the third season in a row they've had a major problem, and she WAS the problem one of those times.

Also-also, blink-and-you'll-miss-it cameos by ponies modeled after Holmes and Watson in BBC's Sherlock. Apparently there was also a Moriarty one I didn't catch.

So yeah. Started unfortunately slow, but once it hit its stride, I was having fun. I used to call that "Homestuck Syndrome" until I WAY lost track of anything that was happening in Homestuck.

See you next week for "Made in Manehattan." And, if the hearsay I've picked up is correct, Friendship Games.
