Howdy, folks!

So, I promised myself that when I got to a benchmark word count on the original fiction I'm pluggin' away on, I would take a break to write some pony, because I've been missing writing pony. So, as things go, that benchmark came and went, I took my break, and I wrote some pony!

The draft's right around 5,000 words and is still in edits. Provided there are no forthcoming catastrophes, it should be ready to go live on Monday. I very much enjoyed writing it and writing the characters again, so I'll hopefully have some good excuses to write some more very soon. This story's a little bit of a departure for me, as you no doubt guessed from the lack of romance tag, but I enjoyed writing it and I hope y'all enjoy reading it. Let's also all hope that my next gap between story publications is far shorter than this last one.
