Update On Things (as of 9/2015)

So, it's been awhile since I've made my presence on here known, so this is largely just to show I haven't died, ascended, taken a wrong turn at Albuquerque, gotten lost in another dimension, or anything like that.

And let me assure you that, yes, I am still writing. That rewrite of "Shadow of a Ghost" is coming along slowly, still can't tell you when ya can expect it to hit the interwebs, but it's coming along.

Part of the reason for the delay is that, as usual, I'm juggling more than one project unadvisedly, but that's kind of long been my schtick. So my attention keeps getting divided by "Shadow of a Ghost," real life responsibilities, drawing projects, non-fanfic writing projects...

...as well as two other fanfics.

"Say WHAT?"

I know, I know, all that talk about quitting fanfiction, and I end up not following through on it just yet.

In my defense, though, these other two fanfics did kind of sneak up on me and catch me by surprise.

One is a one-shot that is actually an old idea I've been toying with for awhile now but could never get to quite work until the missing link struck me suddenly and worked so well I realized I'd be a fool not to write it. It's been coming together very rapidly, so you'll probably be seeing that one before too much longer.

The other is a considerably longer fanfic for an idea that also came upon me suddenly and I just can't leave alone, so I'm writing it. It could very well be my "swansong" fanfic in the end, but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.

But yeah, just an update on the state of affairs for me. Hopefully more will be coming soon.
