Never Forget. · 2:13pm Sep 11th, 2015
Today, is a very somber day. All American users may know what I'm talking about. It started like any other morning 14 years ago.
I'm of course talking about 9/11. A very tragic and depressing day. So I want to take this moment and remember those we've lost.
My prayers and condolences go to those who've lost loved ones that day. I can only imagine the sadness and depression people have felt on days like these.
As I said, lets remember the lives that were lost 14 years ago.
It's my birthday. It's not hard to imagine how much this sucks. My brother has it worse though; he was born on September 11th, 2001.
Amen brother, amen
3384758 I wonder what it must feel like to have hate just boil and rot from within. Maybe I should ask you, because apparently you seem to be full of that hate.
Yeah, it was sad that the tsunami that hit Japan ruined the lives of many, yeah it's awful, and I respect and honor those who've survived or have lost someone or something dear to them.
But maybe if you wanted me to pay my respects to them, you should be more respectful as well to the people who we lost on September 11'th. But by the way you make it sound, I suppose 9/11 is too mainstream for you.
I won't argue with you, but I will kindly request you leave, and take your hurtful words with you. Because nobody wants to hear a rant by an angry soul.
God bless you, and the souls that were lost in the past years.
3384758 I've got to agree here; 9/11 didn't even mean much symbolically to many of the New Yorkers I know, my own family included.

you want to to whats the difference between 9/11 and the Japanese earthquake and tsunami in 2011. the difference is the tsunami was something that happened by nature and 9/11 was somthing that was done by terrorists.
3385941 Thank you!
3385997 Wow. I am sensing MAJOR emotional tension over two tragic events that took place 4 and 14 years ago respectively. But seriously people, can we all agree to disagree that 9/11/01 and many other natural/terrorist-inspired tragedies (Hurricane Katrina, Boston Marathon bombings, Haiti earthquake '10', and many others within the 21st century)[Japanese earthquake-turned-tsunami included] were all just small road blocks on our own paths of life and continue to move forward. Yes, I agree that it's hard to swallow the pain that the past 14-15 years has caused the world to go nuts, but we've got to remember that no matter what, we as human beings are the most versatile creatures history has known (other than cockroaches...*shudders*)! So please remember that next time there's a heated debate over world overcomings.
Please and God bless,
Ivory
