    GENUINE QUESTION

Since I almost never post anything and haven't done an MLP fanfic in a while, should I still have this account or no? Despite being one of my earliest ones?

    Feel free to comment.

Oh Hey My Blog Actually Exists.

To say this account has been in hibernation almost all year is an understatement but quite frankly I've gotten involved in a heck-ton of other fandoms recently that aren't My Little Pony though I've rewatched some episodes recently and had fun. I've also become more serious about finding a proper job and also at writing.

My Alien: Covenant Review (Sorry It Took So Long)

Well, this is another one of those films I’m conflicted on though not as much as others and it took me about three to four days to get this review out due to other movies I want to see, family time and partly cause I’m kinda lazy.

Q&A Answer Time! · 5:01am Sep 8th, 2015

Okay the questions have been collected now it's time to answer them! Yay! Questions will be highlighted. So let's begin:

“If you could live in a Scifi world (from a game, book, movie,tv show) which would it be?” - from capri-maize

Oh gee any sci-fi world? Well, Star Trek sounds fun but I think I'd like to live in the Star Wars galaxy. Maybe on a remote planet or something.

"Well I guess my biggest question is what kinds of fanfic?? I think… do you work on and what got you started on those subjects??" - from shenzi-hemlock

I LOVE writing crossover fics. I just get to think these absurd scenarios and who would interact with who.

I got started with fanfics thanks to my siblings and a wonderful friend of mine named Nastassja and figured if I was unable to write original material I could at least write these and get known through that.

"How were you introduced to LOTR and FMA? In my case, I had a vague idea of LOTR as being some sort of awesome book for grownups and, as I was always reading way above my grade level, randomly decided to pick it up and read it when I was 12. (Took me 1 ½ days.) I pretty much also just randomly decided to start watching FMA as well; all I knew about it when I started was that the short guy was in fact the older brother and that he was touchy about it. Was it the same way for you, or did you get metaphorically dragged out your door by Gandalf?" - from spinneryesteryear

It's actually kind of a funny story. I never actually read a single Tolkien work until about say 2009 (the year I got saved) when I saw The Lord of the Rings on TV for the first time. And we all sobbed like babies when we got to Return of the King. I then finally saw all three extended cuts on The Lord of the Rings at a friends house before The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey came out. I also read the entirety of The Hobbit during that anticipation. Those events, coupled with the release of the next two hobbit movies, made me the Middle-Earth geek I am today.

As for Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, my siblings sucked me into it along with my mom. Once I started watching I couldn't stop. I practically fell in love with it. That's how I got into FMAB.

"OK, well let's see... what got you into fanfiction in the first place, and if it was Fimfiction/MLP, when did you make your way here?" - from batbrony

Same answer as with shenzi. But going onto the MLP subject, the show itself really brought me here along with my brother. Believe it or not pony stories are actually harder to come up with and write then other fics.

What show can you not live without? - from mikasrockbells

I don't know if I'd go THAT far but I adore Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Call the Midwife, Frasier, Arrested Development and most recently Parks and Recreation.

"What inspired you to write the gender bent hobbit fan fiction?" - from JBvonHerb

Let's see...it all started when I saw a few fancasts. Some were good but most of them really weren't. Others had great choices except for one or two that REALLY didn't work. But the idea kept popping up in my brain and I felt "Oh gee I gotta write this." Sure enough I started and wouldn't you know it, the fic grew into it's own thing and I had a great time. I'm having an even better time writing the re-writes (when i'm not too busy fighting writers block).

"What was Tolkien's best piece? Including the post-mortem collections." - from nightcrawlerfan

I haven't read enough of his work but The Hobbit comes to mind. It's a fun little book that has a surprise amount of depth, even if it doesn't have enough character development for everyone who isn't Bilbo or Thorin.

"whats your fav tv show :)?" - from gyllenhail

Tie between Call the Midwife and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.

"Worst film you've ever seen?" - from Avenging-Hobbits

At the time of this writing, Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox. I actually hated myself, DC comics and the whole world after watching it. I actually ran out into my yard just as the credits started rolling and screamed "FUCK!" for almost three minutes. To this day I still have an immense hatred for that..thing. To qoute Ron Swanson "it took years of focused hatred to get over it" but every so often I have flashbacks. Horrid flashbacks.

Though the movie's probably going to get dethroned by The Garbage Pail Kids if I ever see that.

Alrighty so what pairing was your very first otp, and also what made you decide to write the genderbend for The Hobbit? ^_^ - from anniethorbo

Similar to the answer to vonHerb's question but I can elaborate a little further with you. I saw fantastic art of female Bilbo, saw some genderbent cosplays and read a great article about how Bilbo would actually be a good heroine. That really helped me decide to do it.

My first otp that I can recall was Belle and the Beast from Beauty and the Beast. Extremely beautiful and well done even for animation.

"Hmmm, lessee.........
1. Who's your favorite pony? (And I don't mean just among the Mane 6; any of the cast will do.)
2. Who's you favorite pairing? (Can be same sex, or straight.)
3. What's your favorite story that wasn't written by you, or your siblings?" - from whitewolf-stormrunner

Okay let's tackle this one in steps.

1. Fluttershy, Doctor Whooves and Derpy.
2. Well for one thing all my ships are straight but I don't really have a fav pairing. I do have one favorite MLP ship though: Fluttermac.
3. Let's see...there was this adorable Into the Woods fic involving Cinderella and the Baker. I also read a good Fluttermac fic called Hope. And finally there's a good Jupiter Ascending fic about Stinger and Aleksa. Go check it out.

That's all for now. Thank you all for your questions. I'll try and answer more in the future if I hold another Q&A.

Personally, I'd never want to live in the Star Wars universe. It's a lot of fun to watch, but it seems really dangerous.
I had a bit of a bizarre introduction to Tolkien. When I was seven, my uncle bought me the DVDs of The Fellowship of the Ring and The Two Towers. Upon seeing the moody box art and one scene with Gollum, I instantly decided to never, ever be involved with Tolkien. Ten years later, when the first Hobbit was coming out, I decided that I wanted to watch it. To prepare myself, I read the Silmarillion, the Hobbit, and the LotR trilogy, as well as watching the first trilogy of films. I don't like to do things half way, and I was quite glad that I didn't.
And I'd say my least favorite film would be Southland Tales, myself.

3380587 Ooooh Southland Tales? Only know it from like two Linkara references.

3381057 I've only seen Channel Awesome's review of it, and it still causes me pain.
