Well, Twilight the Terrible is over-FINISHED! I'd like to thank you folks for sticking with me throughout this thing, despite delays, short chapters, me not having much of a clue what I was doing. :p Thanks to anyone who's posted spelling corrections. I swear I'll go through and correct them as soon as I can. Thanks for the people who created/worked on the trope page. Just THANK YOU!
Anyway... if I remember correctly, this thing came about on Space Battles when we were musing on how to have Twilight Sparkle take over while keeping her in-character. Most of them, IIRC, were comical ones. Celestia goes on vacation, sets the sun on auto-pilot and leaves Twilight the crown/regalia. :p I took it in a darker direction.
Yes. Me. I was the one to take it darker. Ponder that for a moment...
Anyway, I believe Nocturne 90 had the original, basic idea. So thanks to him/her for that. Admittedly most of this is from a long-dead brainstorming thread that I'm not gonna try to find. But still, major thanks to the writers on Space Battles for their help on the main writing thread, too.
Now, as for the fates of certain characters, namely a pegasus and earth pony... I'm actually quite serious when I say I don't know what happened to them. Hell, I'm not sure if Aunt and/or Uncle Orange are still alive. If anyone wants to write some fic about what you think their fate is, be my guest.
I will admit, I'm not sure the title's actually a good one, since Nightmare Moon's the main character, not Tyrant Twilight. I'm really happy with what I did with Nightmare Moon. And for the record, she was never gonna go back to being Luna. Nor were tha alt-Elements of Harmony going to be retrieved.

The title is fine, I'd say. alt-Twilight may not be the main character but she's the driving force of the story.
I really should get back to this story! I've read the first four chapters, but I hardly remember anything than the basic premise, and that I liked where you were going with things.

I don't know why, but I've always been intrigued by alt universes and believing in the multi-verse theory like how this story kinda is. What would happen if there was a different outcome and ending for Nightmare Moon? What if somehow she ended up in a different universe which is more than likely the real one and she met Luna herself? That's the kind of stuff I like ^^ You have made yourself a very fine story and I look forward to reading this all the way again! 10/10, would read again
