No, seriously...I just got a Patreon.
"But Rob," I hear you say, "you always said that Patreons are the sign of the devil!"
Actually, no I didn't say that. I said that Pattycakes are the sign of the devil, which is a different story. But anyway, the creation of the Patreon was borne out of all the stuff I've done for Seven Days in Sunny June. Rendering the preview characters took an average of two hours each with my current system. With a higher grade system, I could speed that up immensely - like from two hours, to two minutes.
Why? Animation. No, seriously. There are some parts of Book IV that if I had the time and resources, I would have animated. (And probably got a C&D from Hasbro five minutes later, but still.) Certainly I would love to have done an image for every character in the series, and if I ever revisit this scenario again, I'd love to do more.
Plus, what about my other stories? Doesn't anyone want to see a rendered DJ Martinez? Or Moon, from he. she. we.?
Well, I wanted to get a new system in order to do that...but then the hot water heater in the house died. That's a bit more of a priority, so I got that instead. But still, there's that urge to render and write.
So I'm turning to you all for patronage. I hope that I will be worthy of your patronage, and that you will do so when you can. And if you don't, fine, I'm still going to write, draw and render. But I could do more with more resources. Plus, I'm not going to spam you to death as I've seen some authors do. It's the link up top and a mention in the author's notes, and that's it. Pure and simple.

All I can do for now is like $1.00 for each of your works, but I hope to up that later one. Right now, I'm a bit tight on cash, as I've been saving for a very special fan-made book that's going to be released before long. After I have that in my hot little hooves, I'll see what I can do about doing that.
