With the publication of the most recent chapter on Courts of the Magi, we have reached a period of time in the story wherein time will pass. I've set up the plotlines for the next section of the story, and wrapped up a few things that needed wrapping. Which brings me to the announcement.
For the next few weeks, chapters for Courts will not be written or published. Hear me out.
I love Halloween, and for the past few years, I have wanted dearly to write a Hallowen story. However, that has been precluded by the stories I have been writing, namely Dusk's Dangerous Game and Stormsinger. This year, however, I want to try my hand at horror writing again, seeing as I've grown a bit as a writer since Luna's Moon Laughs.
The new story, as yet untitled, will take place in the setting, as Lines did, at the close of Season 2. Call me a creature of habit, I suppose. It will run a bit longer than Luna's Moon, a proper novel as opposed to the shorts I've done or the doorstoppers I write now. It will be a tale of implacable horror, the longing of autumn, and perhaps a bit of childhood wonder. I might throw in a bit of sex for the spice of it, but that remains to be seen and will, of course, be properly noted. Chapters will be written over the month of September, and publishing will begin in one month's time.
I plead your continued sufferance as my readers, and promise to deliver the best damn Halloween story I can give you that features tiny colored horses.
Acceptable.
I can't wait to see how this turns out! Halloween is my favorite holiday, the only one I take time off work for anymore. It needs love, and Luna always needs more attention!
Okidokiloki.
Novel, as in, "over 40k words"?
So Airstream, what's the state of affairs for that story you were talking about at the moment?

Oh, Leon. It's coming. Sooner than you think, not as soon as you'd like.
