A brief word on "Once a Lady" · 12:39am Aug 30th, 2015
Ok, serious Pencil time.
I know. I'm sorry. I'll be brief.
I have a new story that should be approved pretty soon. Now, for anyone who wanted more comedy and bodily fluids and stuff, I am sincerely sorry and I promise I'll get back to all that soon enough. I never really intended for my FimFic to be a place where I post any writing that I actually put real effort or feeling into. That may actually sound a little shitty, but FimFic is a place I come to post fun things I have written that I amuse myself with, and I really enjoy doing that, and I know some of you really enjoy that too. So I hope you continue to enjoy that along with me.
Once a Lady is an exception to how I do things. I wrote this because I caught a little grief from some people who I know (and care about) asking "Why don't you ever write femanon? Why don't you ever write anything with feels? Why is everything about sex with you?" to which I responded "FUCKING FINE I'll write a story where I do all those things!" Because fuck you I do what I want but mostly I like doing what makes you happy.
So, I grabbed myself the girliest drink I could imagine (pina colada martini with cherries in it, btw), and wrote this thing. I didn't intend for it to go where it did plotwise, and I didn't post it for...well, a long time because I can't say I'm particularly happy with it. I find it's well enough written for my standards, I find I accomplished what I set out to do, but "Once a Lady" is more a worthy opponent than it is an ally to me.
In short, it hits on some of my own feelings, and I greatly dislike doing that with my writing, and had no intent of doing so when I wrote this.
So, if you enjoy feelsy femanon stories, I genuinely hope you like this. I do. I hope it speaks to you and makes you feel something and maybe even makes you laugh on occasion. But don't expect this to be the new norm for me. "Once a Lady" is an unusual story, one I am not likely to repeat.
Nowthen, time to stop being serious....I'm going to get back to writing a story about sexually enjoying electroshock therapy. Here, have a picture that basically explains my writing process:

God damnit, I really should try to write something, but I can not for the life of me find the drive to do it.

But i simply can't sit down long enough and come up with a story that doesn't end up as a steaming pile of manure. And it not even the good kind of manure that weirdos like me want to read either, like what Pencil are pumping out. That's some good shit, mate. Literally.
Step 1 of writing well is writing a LOT of stories that are steaming piles of shit. Seriously. Read stories, then sit down, and write some honest to god atrocities. If it sucks, it sucks. You'll learn something from doing it though. Write 1k, write 2k. Just write. It's the only way to do it.
