Helping a lost filly find her way home should have been a walk in the park for Princess Twilight Sparkle, but this time things turned out to be a bit stranger than she was expecting.

    I wrote a thing.

Not pony. An angsty Satoko/Rika fic, from the franchise Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni.

The fandom overlap here is probably vanishingly small, but maybe someone will be interested.

New Owl House Story: Something to Share

I wrote a new story, as part of a Christmas fic exchange, for my good friend R5h.

Luz shares an important place with Amity; memories both playful and painful.

Amity learns from the past and mends something broken.

It's the best date they've been on yet.

    It can be found here.

Lost and Never Found - Followup · 3:08pm Aug 29th, 2015

Well, that was a fun week. A solid five days in the feature box is always nice.

Compared to when I released Love Twiangles, I actually expected this fic to blow over quietly, and not attract all that much attention. Shows what I know.

More under the break!

In any case, thanks for reading, and welcome to all the new folks who decided to follow me.

As some of you have keenly recognized, the story was pretty heavily inspired by a particular arc in the anime Bakemonogatari, which is a show that I can pretty much never recommend to anyone in good faith, yet something I watched this year and absolutely loved anyway.

It was originally entered as a bare-bones minific in the July Writeoff contest, where it was too trimmed down to do very well. I also entered it in to the fanfiction contest at Geek Kon, but the competition was stiff this year and this admittedly wasn't my strongest effort. (Won it last year with Little Apple.)

Many of you have also commented on the rather open ending. I assure you, this is very intentional. I have story ideas on how to carry this premise into two sequels, give or take. I don't know if or when I'll ever write them, but there's a good chance I'll get bored eventually and crank them out. So stick around!

In other news, the editing of Fractured Sunlight is progressing nicely. I still aim to release the first chapters within the next couple weeks, after which I'll be following a weekly release schedule til its done.

Thanks again!

Addendum: It was recently brought to my attention that the last line of this fic was missing, thanks to the ever faulty google docs importer. Whoops! Sorry about that folks. Supposed to like this:

Whatever she had broken, whatever this filly’s purpose, however much time she had left…

Twilight might as well let her have some fun while she was still here.
