Which Title? · 9:46pm Aug 24th, 2015
>>>Edit: added descriptions.
So after I finish my final chapter of Racing with Soarin, I'm done with all of my existing stories. That's where I need your help.
Please comment below on which title sounds the most interesting and would make the best story.
If you have any ideas of your own that you would like me to write, I'd love to hear them! However, please no shipfics. I just did, like, two shipfics in a row and am kinda burned out. Thanks in advance!
Where the Mountain Meets the Mare(adventure, alternate universe, sad):
After Sombra attacked Ponyville and was defeated, Ponyville was left in ruins. Almost everypony's homes were destroyed, along with the crops and food stores. Everypony is in danger of starvation, but two little fillies want to change that: Sweetie Belle and Applebloom. After hearing about a legend that an old wizard called Starswirl the Bearded lives atop of a mountain near the Crystal Empire, the two go to find the "Old Stallion of the Summit" to help them restore Ponyville with one of his powerful spells, and on the way encounter a mysterious talking fish, a pegasus who can't fly named Scootaloo, vampire bats, and a duo of salesponies. What could possibly go wrong in this endearing adventure?
Departure from Ponyville (Sad)
A short little fanfic about what will happen to Spike when he is fully grown and has to return home.
Applejack's Wish (sad, slice of life)
Applejack has a flashback to when her parents were alive.
Pinkie's Origins (Dark, alternate universe)
Based on Friendship is Witchcraft, a story that tells of where Pinkie really came from.
Graduation Day (Comedy, sad, slice of life)
A cute slice of life story about what would happen at the Cutie Mark Crusaders' high school graduation.
Octavia's Last Ballad (sad, slice of life)
When Octavia is told she has severe bone cancer, she decides to play one last song for one final audience, including vinyl, before she withers away. (My grandpa died from bone cancer, so this is a touchy subject for me).
Hmm...It really depends on which genres you're considering from the outset, however, Applejack's Wish would intrigue me the most
Okay, now Where the Mountain Meets the Mare makes me the most curious
The reason I have such a long description for Where the Mountain Meets the Mare is because it's based off a book I read by Grace Lin. One of my favorites! I was thinking about it earlier, and realized that one of the main characters, Dragon, was a dragon who couldn't fly and he was really depressed about it. Does that sound like anypony to you?
