Signal Boosting: "Resolution" by xjuggernaughtx · 12:48am Aug 23rd, 2015
Hey, everypony, remember Rainbow Rocks? Of course you do. Remember how you were watching the big battle royale at the very end and how the Sirens did the whole ears-tails-and-wings transformation, just like our heroes did, but on top of that, they seemed to have the ability to project full-animal hippocampus-like tulpas corresponding to themselves with which to attack the heroes? Of course you do. Do you remember thinking Huh, that's a bit weird; I wonder what exactly is going on with that?
Well, maybe you do, maybe you don't. Maybe you kind of glossed over it and thought there was nothing any more strange about that than about our heroes eventually summoning a giant anonymous glam-rock God-Alicorn to lay the smack down. But I certainly had a moment of... dissonance, as it were, and I could never fully get it to come together.
Well, author and all-around swell guy xjuggernaughtx is having a go at resolving this dissonance with his newly-posted "Resolution," and while it's not finished yet, I really like the concept and the way it's going so far. Have a look and see what you think.
Hey, thanks a million! I really appreciate this.

Well, it's a good story. I still have some questions, but that's only natural halfway through.
3339901 looks interesting, I will take a look at it.

3339920 Well, let me know what you think, even if you hate it. The feedback is always appreciated, and you've been around here long enough to have some informed opinions.
It seems like this is the thing all the cool kids are writing these days. (I'm in the middle of my own "make sense of the EqG world" story as well.)

I find some of the best comments are the ones that are critical in a way that they help point out the flaws you can't otherwise see.

Whatever he doesn't answer in his fic, I'll take care of in mine. Maybe between the two of us we can figure out all the gaping plot holes.
Nope. I thought "Oh, that must be some kind of projection of their true form bleeding through now that they've fed so well."
I actually considered this a lot weirder. That thing wasn't foreshadowed at all.
