Lost In Adaptation · 12:04am Aug 19th, 2015

I've mentioned this a few times in the comments, but I'm a huge fan of this web-series called...

Well, Lost In Adaptation.

It's made by a dude that calls himself The Dom, and is about the differences between the original book and the movie adaptation/s.

Really high production standards, easy to understand with great plot synopses, and quite often hilarious.

Anyway, he's recently released an episode based on the Who Framed Roger Rabbit? slash Who Censored Roger Rabbit? and its his best one yet in my opinion.

(Ignore the Roger Rabpit thing. It's just a lame pun in the first edition that later got retconned into... well, Roger Rabbit.)

And well, since I'm fairly certain most of you just went: 'Wha...? That was a book first?' it seemed like a good secondary reason to grab your interest.

Just fair warning: The book was dark. You might be a bit shell-shocked on hearing by how much given what a family classic the movie has become.

If so, another good starting point might be the first episode:

That also was based on a way, way darker book that just might kill bits of your childhood, but still. :pinkiecrazy:

Still, highly recommended.
