Heya all,
Having things happen here (which I didn't expect) has got me thinking that there should be some changes.
Initially this was a place to read and learn (and it still is), but I feel I can no longer continue the same way.
My first goal was just to manage to get something, anything, published and pass moderation. Once that happened I continued brute forcing stories (very) slowly improving with each. However, I've reached the point at which this is no longer acceptable.
Getting my latest short, has shown me that I really need to up my standards (which also means finding editors, pre-readers and proofreaders to help me with my works). I've already taken steps in that direction, but that would mean a slight delay in things to come.
Since I'm (and probably always be) an impulse writer, one shots will continue to appearing on a weekly/bi-weekly basis, but their quality would be more or less the same as my current works (hopefully the ideas inside would be better).
That said, I've already started work on the sequel of Dear Proncess Twilight, so hopefully the first chapter will appear sometime this month (fingers crossed).
