Something serious. . . · 5:06am Aug 15th, 2015
Okay, I'm talking about the one thing I try to stay away from: Politics.
More accurately: WWII
So, I just got home from a concert in honor of the vets that served in WWII. It was called: The Spirit of 45.
The first few songs play, and I don't really pay attention. Then three women sing songs done by the duo who did Bugle Boy.
After they did this song, I woke up a little more. (I was tired) And listened to the rest of the concert.
Then they played the song God Bless America.
Then it hit me: What would they think?
What would the survivors of WWII think of what we've become?
I urge all of you Americans to remember the deadliest conflict this world ever had, and remember those who died defending our country.
And please, remember that we owe allegiance not to out government, but each other.
So, look on all that has transpired in the last 20 or so years. Was there anything that you regret happening?
And, while I'm on the topic of my country, I've been seeing an add: Should Obama stay for a third term?
PEOPLE! Wake up! This man, all men, and even all women, only get two terms. If Obama wants a third term, I can tell you without a doubt it will not be good for us.
This is one reason I wish people would wake up and rebel against a government that should no longer exist.
Again, before I close this blog, remember the people who died for us, and ask yourself if they are proud of what we've done.
And for all of you atheists out there, I'm sorry if I offend, but I have yet to see proof that God doesn't exist. SO, god bless the USA.
And: I don't pledge allegiance to any government. But to my flag, and to my friends.
And now for an update on a story idea:
So, on my way to my great grandparents graves, I came up with a story.
But I am not going to say what it is about.
Just that it's titled: Do you remember when?

First off, presidents only get two terms. No president in the past fifty years has stayed more than 8 years (two terms).
Second, anarchy is just as bad as an authoritarian, always-spying government.
I like your patriotism, but that just needed to be pointed out.
3321004 Then you either haven't seen the adds, or you don't care about them.
and. . . I'm not supporting anarchy. I should have made that clearer. What I MEANT to say was: governments need to be taken down and remade(aka rebelled against) about every 20 years to stop corruption. And we are way over due on that.
WAY overdue.
But, I do see your points. I just regret not being clearer.
