Today while out shopping, I just sat and kicked out the next three scenes of Epic Unicorn History, as though I hadn't taken a months-long hiatus from it. I could have done more, yes, but I'm happy with what I did. :B It's just nice to be able to sit down and write like that.
Maybe this won't be so bad.
You write... while shopping??
Man, I can't even write unless I'm the only person in the house and I take like an hour to get "in the zone" first.
Hi-five for shopping writers! Go wrote those horse words, PP!

In the car, yes, since I'm not the one driving. :B

What do you write it ON
There was some really good advice I heard somewhere, and the gist of it was: "When you write a lot and you want to share it, don't. When you write a lot and you want to tell people about it, don't. You're trying to get the satisfaction of 'finishing' without actually finishing, and it leads you to, well, not finish."
Not trying to rain on your parade, but I've found it rings true that telling people about some partially written thing you have demotivates you to work on it further. Keeping it hidden until it's "done" gives you a much stronger motivation to finish, and so leads you to finishing it sooner. By all means be proud and happy you wrote what you did, but it might be worth keeping it under wraps to see how that can motivate you to finish.

That's why I never post chapter snippets and the like. This at least explains why people do. :B
Great, now finish the darn thing so's I can read it!
