After giving it some thought, and receiving some much need feedback from you guys/girls. I am going to be rewriting the first and second chapter. While the basic idea of it will be the same, I am going to be stretching it out and giving it more depth, characters and all. And I wanted to say something, while the story itself follows the same idea as a displaced fic. Person or people go to con, person or people get transported to equestria by the merchant. The story The Kings of Crystal, has no merchant. Wrong place, wrong time kind of thing.
I would like to think about it as, when Shining and Cadance blasted the Changleings with love. The massive burst of love weakened Sombra's hold on the Crystal Empire. Thus it came back. But, this is where my story comes in. With the Crystal Empire coming back, seemingly from nowhere, it brought something else with it, from somewhere else. I know my way of seeing it is horrible, but it's mine.
But I digress. Chapter 1 and 2 are being rewritten as of friday. I can start tonight, or technically, this morning. But I'm lazy and require many breaks or I find myself bored of what I'm doing. This is mainly why I listen to music 24/7.
And for you Payday fans who are wondering where the sniper is. It is confirmed, sniper will be coming. But in a later chapter. Most likely chapter 4, I don't know...
Yeah, people dress up, sent to equestria. On what grounds does it make that story a Displaced fic? Because they dressed up and went to a convention and got powers in the process of buying an artifact? Because they went to a convention? There was a story I read that made fun of the idea, dude goes in normal clothes and he does what his clothes tell him to. Can't remember the name...
