BIG NEWS! BRONYCON EXPERIENCE! AND UPDATE! · 4:21am Aug 12th, 2015
It's been awhile since I made a real important announcement, or any type of progress going on. But this one is a duzy.
First I'll star off with Bronycon. It was amazing! Better than I had expected! I got to meet a lot of great people: Elric of Melnipony, Scoots2, Leapingriver, General Soaring, Majin Syeekoh, The Elusive Badgerpony, the parasprite, Brasta_Septim, and last but certainly not least, Eldorado himself!
I also can't forget the great voice actor and actresses: John de Lancie. Nicole Oliver, Andrea Libman, Kazumi Evans, and Kelly Sheridan (Starlight Glimmer!).
All I can say is that it really was a new experience for me. I never felt so free and open before in my life until that con. It was a whole new experience for me. I'd even go so far and say it was like a slice of heaven! That's how much I enjoyed myself!
But the best part about all of this is...
I'm going back for Bronycon 2016!!!
I hope some of you will be able to make it this time. I know there are a few of you I really wish to meet in person, considering how much fun I had meeting all you who were there.
So I'm giving out this advisory to you. Plan ahead, save up enough money for ticket, travel, and hotel room, because you're going to need it.
Trust me, it's totally worth the experience.
Now as for the big news. I'm sure some of you were wondering, or have forgotten about what I had said back in April about leaving the site. I won't deny that such actions are hard and really only something I would considered on the situation IRL. But these past few months have been heavily spent with talking to friends and just rebuilding myself. But I think my trip to Bronycon had made it very clear to me:
If it wasn't obvious enough that I don't like the idea of leaving all this behind, I have come to terms with myself that leaving the site as a whole is not the answer. What I need is to use this site in moderation. So to put it simply, I'm not going to leave forever or of the like, but I will be cutting my time around the site quite a bit. That means I may not be seen for a day or two. I might only get on once or twice a day if nothing is going on. It's a step forward for me to focus on what's important. I just have to learn how to handle moderation in the other things I struggle at.
So I guess. You won't have to say goodbye to me after all.
Now since I'm not leaving, I owe you an update on what I plan on doing story wise. Well, I realize that I haven't posted anything like I said I would, (I really suck at updates when no progress has really been made) but I am in the process of revising that shipfic. So that is what you should be looking forward to from me. As for other projects, I might post the actual first chapter of Brothers until the end; unless my mentor is still interested in working with me on that, in which case I will wait for his approval. To be fair, I'm at fault for not getting that out in a long time ago, due to not really communicating with him much.
Other than that, any other projects I may have are just ideas on the drawing board. Nothing is planed at the moment for actually publishing.
So that's all I have for you.
Broadway is staying!
Well, if the timing is right, there are no scheduling conflicts, and I have the necessary funds, I might give it a shot.
Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed your time at the convention.

Oh, The 8 through the 10 of July is when the next con is.
I wish I cared... Mentioning BronyCon makes it REALLY hard to care about anything at all
But I really am glad you enjoyed it

Seriously, if you were to make it to the next Bronycon, it would be my highlight, hands down.
You have a whole year to plan things out! I'm telling you all to use this time wisely! You will not regret it!
Glad to hear that.
