    All Shall Fear My Eggs!

(The title. It does nothing! It's just an awesome Psychonauts reference)

So... This one time I was here. Back in the writing circle, I mean.
What do I do with this. Not that anyone reads my blog. But I read my blog, so I am here.

Day 1: A New Idea Approaches.
It's complicated. I love it, but its a minefield. I can crash and burn really easily, actually.

Introductions, I guess · 2:17am Apr 5th, 2012

Hello, all. I Think I will use this space to talk a little about my own personal styles and how I come to the pony fold :3
Ehehehe well anyways, a friend of mine was brought out of a suicidal depression (more of a friend of a friend in retrospect) by FIM and he soon began to assimilate all of his friends that I happened to know. After watching the first two episodes of season two at my buddy Tom's (DigitDaemon) house, curiosity set in and I sat down and began watching from the beginning. About seven hours later my mom comes in to tell me it is three in the morning and I have to get up for work for the next day. ^,^; Well that's kind of the long and the short if it. Applejack is my upstanding favorite, but I'm not sure if that's the way I want Comet to go. I did my best to try and set it up so he could have a relationship with any of the Mane 6. In case I actually do get readers and they theorize on their own :D I've always loved role-playing, and when I found out about FIMFiction, I jumped headfirst into it. It's a pleasure to be here, and I hope I get a lot of comments on my work-in-progress A Comet's Tale.

I put up the first chapter last night (this morning technically), so I think I will get a little of the nitty-gritty out about it (because I have SOo many readers and they are all BEGgin to know). Comet is essentially a self-insert, although I did my best to try and make him believable as an actual character (god-modding and the like have always been a no-no in my book). Although I'm not as big of a bookworm as Comet, and I'm definitely more popular than he is, his personality and mine are essentially the same, I think. I have storyboarded about five chapters or so thus far, I just need to find the time to put them down on paper. I am fully open to criticism (constructive and negatively connotated are fine) and suggestions. If I get readers, I would have no problem swinging the story one way or another for them. That and situations suggested by readers are always better than what I've been able to come up with.

A couple little things about some of the minor characters really quick to finish up:
Dasher is a dark-grey colored work colt that works in the power plant of Manehattan, doing the regular maintenance on the primary boiler.
Dancer is a librarian, obviously, though her parents were hoping she would be a show-girl (hence the name Dancer).
Prancer is a race horse professionally. He is a light grey color and is thinner and taller than most other colts his age.
Vixen, Comet's older sister, ignores most of the social boundaries in Manehattan to date the Pegasus of her dreams (D'Awwww)
Comet's Owl Owlaroo will be seen again in later chapters (maybe not two but three perhaps).
Cupid, Comet's friend from grade school, won't be showing up until much later. She is a yellow philly with a darker yellow mane.
Donner was Comet's name before he got his Cutie Mark that fateful day in the library. With a cutie mark as straight-up as three comets, how could they not change his name?
Blitzen is a Pegasus that works on the weather committee of Manehattan. He is currently dating Vixen, Comet's older sister. Any ties between Blitzen and Rainbow Dash are currently unknown (to the readers :3)

Yes, all of my inserts are named after reindeer. I thought it was a clever way or segregating them from actual characters. More on them to come in later blog posts.

Welp, it's 9:25 now and I have to be at work at 10. Toodles~

Man, that was a long time ago. I really wanted to just walk away from all that, and I guess I had a bit of a deletion fit. Derp. Welp, no sense crying over spilt milk. Here I am with a brand new project, and all sorts of fun information on a brand new story.

The Garden's House, a soap of sorts centering around The Burgundy Gardens in Canterlot. This house, in all of its complexity, is the only scene for the entire story.
