Back from a trip. · 6:08am Aug 10th, 2015
A trip I never mentioned. Because it was impromptu and I never got the chance to as I was constantly preoccupied with other tasks like college work and junk. Sorry about that.
"Where did you go?" I can hear you all asking me. Well, I'll tell you where I didn't go:

Yeah, so I didn't go to BronyCon. Because I don't have the money to travel across the country to go and I wouldn't even have any money to spend. Besides, I get real anxious in big crowds and I don't think I'd be able to get involved in the events there. Which sucks, because a lot of cool stuff was happening this year and I SAW THERE WAS A QUEEN UMBRA COSPLAY ARE YOU KIDDING ME HOW RARE IS THAT.
...Ahem. Anyway. I just went out of town for the weekend. I had a good time for the most part. I got to stay at a nice hotel, we ordered room service, got to go to an arcade, and I watched a couple movies (BUT NO ONE WANTED TO SEE INSIDE OUT WITH ME SO I HAD TO SETTLE FOR PIXELS AND FANTASTIC 4 INSTEAD).
The arcade was fun, though. It stayed open until 2 AM and we ended up playing this one terrifying game that could sense your panic levels and could literally BLOW AIR INTO YOUR FACE TO SIMULATE BEING BREATHED ON. IT WAS TERRIFYING. I felt bad for everyone outside the game area because all they could hear from the game simulation booth was cursing and my brother screaming, "SHOOT TOGETHER, YOU DO MORE DAMAGE."
So, now I'm back home and I'm just chilling for the time being before I go to bed. Oh, also, I've been editing an old fic of mine that I put on hiatus for a little bit...
Queen Umbra lives her life with anger in her heart and spite in her soul. She's tried her hardest to serve the Empire to the best of her ability, yet no one takes her seriously due to a past she had no choice over and a curse that she can barely control. And in the midst of all this, she has forced herself to isolation from others so that none may get hurt.
That is, until happy-go-lucky party planner Bubble Berry comes along.
Now stuck with her annoying ball planner every day until the day of the ball's arrival, Umbra ends up getting caught up in the rambunctious behavior of Bubble. Not that she enjoys it... Right?
Yep, that's right, my Queen fic is getting updated and revised! Chapter 1 has already been redone for the good part and the next few chapters are right up on that list! I think if I get a good look at what I can fix, I can get to finishing the story up for good. Maybe even a sequel like I promised last summer.

Welcome back! I wish I could have gone to bronycon too. That would have been awesome, but it's too far for me right now. Although, you can always look for more local conventions, like EQLA, Midwest Bronyfest, Ponyville Ciderfest, Nightmare Nights (Texas), or wherever. (Totally guessing because I have no idea where you live

That arcade sounds awesome. Video games are the best
Have you ever tried out the Oculus Rift? I've played a few horror games on it with my buddies in college. I managed to scream while someone else was playing it and we had the visuals hooked up for everyone else. Since I screamed, they had me try it, and it was FAR worse than on the screen XD It really puts you right into the thick of things. *shudders* It was a lot of fun though.
