How's it going folks?
I've got some time to kill, so I thought I'd toss up a blog. Icicle is progressing smoothly with the latest chapter, Chapter 4 having gone up 3 days ago. The next few chapters are in the works and I am preparing to write the first major battle scene! I'm really excited for this, as it'll give Ratchet her first taste of large scale combat.
That being said, I've fallen behind on my anime watching. With me going back to college in less than three weeks, and a list of 30+ titles of anime on backlog, i'm attempting to burn through a few before I have to buckle down and study. Ugh. As such, my writing might slow down for a bit, but it will pick up again before school starts. Once school hits though, it might eat up most of my time. I hope to keep writing though, but updates will be less frequent.
In the mean time, if you are looking for another Fallout EQ story to read, look no further than Merchants of Hope by Gamma Deekay. It is a great story by a great author and it even has a series of stories going on. You can find more info on that in the description of his story though.
Fun fact, Merchants of Hope is the story that helped inspire me to write my own Fallout EQ story, and also where I took the idea of Artificial Ponies from. So, thanks for C.O.R.A., Gamma!
Lastly, if you don't know already I do fanfic readings of mostly grimdark stories on YouTube. I've also read the original Fallout Equestria and Merchants of Hope, and have started in on The Long Winter, MoH's sequel. So, shameless plug if you want to check out those readings: TPSPlagen
Most of the stories are divided up into their own playlists and the stories with only one chapter are collected in a MLP Horror Readings playlist. Some of the older videos have pretty poor audio quality, though.

On slowing down for writing, you do it when you can, you know? Forcing it is never good, but don't worry if you have to take a break or focus on some real life stuff, man. The story will still be there when you get back to it, as will the readers! Just focus on making it as fun for yourself as you can, because if you're enjoying what you're writing, then there is no wrong pace to go at!
Also, I can't take credit for the Artificial Ponies, as there's been FAR too many fics that have used them so far. x3 I'm just glad you've continued carve your own little niche in the Fo:E community! It's always good to see more stories, and I'm looking forward to where this one is going!
