Small Teaser of Something Soon to Come

Hear young bard and listen to my tale
I reach out from the lands of the pale
A haven from frost yet holds the northern shore
A gift from gods forevermore

But there’s no peace in this land we’ve come to know
A strife of kings who see their own as foe
Old hatred for sins of the dead
Fuel the wars that coat the snow red

Bloodlines fall, forgotten so soon
No graves carved with a single rune
Distant thoughts and echoes of the past
Talk of times that could never last

Blood and snow cover secrets unknown
Evil creeps from the mountain’s stone
So great powers hidden from the seer
Bring to her only a great fear

One of star who plays her namesake
Finds herself with two paths to take
Stay at home and let this come to pass
Or be of songs that will forever last
